Melanie Lawrence

Melanie Lawrence has a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Illinois, and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She has been teaching piano since 1990. In 1998, she opened the Main Street Piano Studio in Louisville, Colorado.

After enjoying teaching piano to a wide range of ages for many years, Melanie has recently made a change to teaching adults only.

Dr. Catherine Millis

Catherine Millis was a recipient of a full music scholarship to the University of Texas and has been a student of John Perry at U. of Texas and U. of Southern California, Daniel Pollack at U. of Southern California, and Dr. Paul van Katwijk, Professor of piano at S.M.U. Catherine received a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance, U. of Texas at Austin

Masters of Music in Violin Performance and Pedagogy, U. of Colorado at Boulder. Student of Oswald Lehnert and William Starr. Doctorate of Piano Performance, U. of Colorado at Boulder. Student of Doris Pridonoff Lehnert.

Dr. Millis has taught for over 25 years, having students that have won MTNA competitions as well as the Clementi Festival.
